We have been made aware of an issue where in some cases pre-waiver videos do not play or are skipped entirely when trying to view them from the Kiosk app. Our development is currently investigating.
The best work around would be to use our Web based Kiosk mode in your devices browser, video playback works correctly in the browser. To use the Web based Kiosk mode. Click Here.
In some cases, preforming a Force Refresh can fix the problem, but in many cases this seems to be a temporary solution. Below are the steps to preform a Force Refresh if you want to try that first.
- Log into your account and go to your Manage Kiosk section: https://www.smartwaiver.com/m/kioskmgr/
- Click on the name for the Kiosk you are trying to refresh
- Then you'll be able to set an Admin Passcode and then click on "Save Changes"
- Now go to your iPad and launch the Smartwaiver Kiosk app
- You will see a lock in the lower right corner (if the Kiosk app is already open then click on Start Over)
- Click on the lock and then enter your passcode from Step 3.
- In the upper right corner click on the circle arrow (this is the Refresh Templates button) and then click on “Force Refresh”
